Sand between the toes, the sound of the waves rolling in and the smell of salt in the air – what a beautiful setting to be married in. Our latest wedding stationery range ‘Shelly Beach‘ is perfect for a stylish beach wedding, a simple yet classy design. We are thinking a wedding reception incorporating gorgeous tones of blue set against old weathered whitewash. Have fun gathering old bottles, sea shells, beads and twine, then get creative and use them for table settings, bombonieres or even at the ceremony location.

A Beach Wedding
Sunday, July 25th, 2010Vintage Lace
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010This inspiration board was created around our ‘Vintage Lace‘ wedding invitation, which I thought suited a vintage inspired summer afternoon wedding glowing in a palette of sage green, tangerine orange, peach and cream. Imagine a warm summer afternoon filled with wide brimmed hats, the clinking of glasses and a game of croquet. I love the idea of a lavish dinning table and chairs setup in a country style garden where an afternoon gathering could turn into a romantic night with the addition of some lanterns and fairy lights hanging in trees.

French Romance
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010One of my favourite wedding themes at the moment is the beautiful and romantic french provincial wedding. Our latest stationery designs ‘Isabella‘ has been inspired by vintage birdcages and decorative details that adorn a french wedding. Think vintage lace, chandeliers, vintage brooches, birdcages, fancy script fonts, draping material, ornate frames…with all these gorgeous items you will leave your guests drooling!
Wedding Monogram
Thursday, March 18th, 2010As part of launching our new look website we have added a new item – wedding monograms. Our wedding monograms or wedding logos are a motif or emblem created by combining a couples initials or names and wedding details as a graphic representation of their unity.
Wedding monograms are a great way to personalise your special day. They can be used on all your wedding stationery as well as various wedding items like, bonbonnieres, napkins, cakes, water bottles, guest book, labels and anything else your imagination can think of.
Poppiseed Designs wedding monograms are available to purchase on their own as an affordable way to make DIY invites/wedding projects look a little more stylish and chic or can be added to our refined stationery ranges for us to print and complete.

Real Wedding – Clare & Jason
Friday, December 11th, 2009I have the pleasure of sharing a simply stunning wedding we were fortunate enough to print the stationery for. Clare and Jason celebrated their wedding in October this year at the beautiful heritage-listed Silvermere in the Blue Mountains. They chose to invite their guests to a beautiful garden wedding with invitations from our Lilianna range.
The very talented Gemma Clarke captured the beautiful moments of Clare and Jason’s special day.

The romantic garden atmosphere was carried throughout the table settings with the Lilianna bomboniere tags (above) and the Wishing Well tag (below) created by Poppiseed Designs.

These beautiful photographs are the work of Gemma Clarke. For more information about Gemma’s photography services please visit www.gemma-clarke.com. Gemma is also generously offering Poppiseed Designs clients a free ready-to-hang canvas* when booking their wedding photography with her! * Not valid with any other offers
Congratulations Clare and Jason, we wish you all the happiness in the future.
Juliet
Saturday, November 28th, 2009If you love the ever popular vintage style wedding why not choose the ‘Juliet‘ wedding invitation which sets the tone for a shabby chic style wedding with its elegant, pretty and romantic style. Combine with a vintage style dress and antique style flowers to match. The wonderful thing about this kind of wedding is that you can save plenty of money by scouring charity shops and garage sales for interesting ‘old style’ accessories to finish the overall look off.

One Invite – Endless Options!
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009At Poppiseed Designs we recognise that everyone has their own individual style and taste and this is no more apparent then at their wedding. We endevour to have a large range of wedding invitations and update our range regularly, but we can never have the perfect invitation for everyone. For this reason we are happy to be flexible with our designs and have a colour chart available with a large range of colour options in which our invitations can be printed. We also have a font list available to help find the perfect matching font to go with the style.
One invitation we have found to be very popular and very regularly requested in another colour is our ‘Fiorella‘ design. So I thought we might put together some colour inspiration boards to demonstrate how one of our invitations can easily altered to suit so many different wedding styles.

Cherry Blossom Wedding Theme
Sunday, August 9th, 2009With all the beautiful cherry blossoms on display at the moment I was inspired to put together a post on a cherry blossom themed wedding. Imagine being joined in marriage beneath the delicate blossoming trees, followed with a romantic garden reception decorated with paper laterns and hand fans as guests sip on fresh guava and lime cocktails.
